The Airigh is a contemporary larch-clad dwelling with uninterrupted views of Tarskavaig Bay. Cleverly designed, light filled, with micro-cement floors and underfloor heating, it has a large open-plan living space complete with fully fitted kitchen, a generously-sized bedroom with en-suite bathroom, and a cloakroom area with storage.
The living space has a large dining table with six chairs and a large corner sofa. There is a smart TV and a wood-burning stove for which a starter pack of logs are provided. The kitchen is fitted with birch-ply units with a concrete work surface. There is a slimline dishwasher, fridge freezer, induction hob and oven, bread machine, slow cooker and plenty of cooking equipment. Tea, fresh coffee, sugar, herbs, spices, olive oil, salt and pepper are provided.
The bedroom has a super king size bed, integral drawer and wardrobe space and dressing area with illuminated mirror. The dressing area can also double as a workspace if a separate area is needed. There are curtains and a roller bilind in the bedroom for privacy. The large en-suite bathroom has a bath with a view of the sea and a walk-in shower. Upon entry to the Airigh there is a spacious cloakroom area with ample storage.
The Airigh is insulated for a cosy, comfortable stay. It has south facing windows that slide open to allow easy access to the outdoors. There are sun loungers available for guest use. All towels and bedding will be provided. A hairdryer is supplied. There are games, books and jigsaws for your entertainment too.
The Airigh is the lowest of three on a sloping croft land called Number 8. The large building at the top of the plot houses a utility room for guests where there is a washing machine and tumble dryer, and plenty of space for hanging wet suits and drying walking clothes etc. Please note paths are made from stonechips and wheeling suitcases can be difficult.
